When you think of hockey, a name that doesn’t come to mind is Jack Roslovic. Coming out of the USHL, U.S. National U17-18, and NCAA this player has always been able to put up points in any league that he’s in. Last night with massive 2 Goals and an assist, he is becoming a name that you should recognize in the NHL.

Originally drafted in the First Round of 2015 by Winnipeg Jets Jack Roslovic started his career in the AHL with the manitoba moose, in 65 Games Played, he managed to put up 13 goals, and 35 assists good for 48 points. Next season he was called up to the NHL for 32 games, and also made an appearance in the AHL for 32 games. Again Jack continued to produce. Earning him a full time roster spot with the Winnipeg Jets for the next two seasons, giving him an overall point production of 0.52/PGP ( Points per Games Played ). His usage was limited by the Winnipeg jets, but after being acquired by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the start of the 2020/2021 season his points production has dramatically increased over the course of his games played to 0.64/PGP.

Could this be the breakout season for Jack Roslovic?

Jack had two goals and an assist to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets Past the Buffalo Sabres an amazing 7-4 beat down on Monday Night.

Tage Thompson opened the scoring at 16:22 in the first period with a beautiful shot. He was in an awesome slot position and gobbled up the rebound.

Max domi added in a goal and two assists to top off the major stars of the game.

On the otherside of the ice Tage Thompson scored twice for Buffalo and matched his career high of eight. It took him only 18 games this year compared to last season when it took 38 to hit eight goals.

In the first period, Roslovic scored twice, the second one assisted by Domi, giving the Blue Jackets a 2-1 going into the second.

Going into the second Columbus made it 5-2 with a three goal outburst in the first 4 minutes of the game.

In the third, they managed to claw they’re way back to 5-4 midway through the second period and fought the game well up until the end.

The Buffalo Sabres pull their goalie in the dying minutes of the game, and a fluke clear manages to go into the net making it 6-4, then Sean Kuraly with the last shot of the game, slides another empty netter in to make it 7-4.

What a fantastic game with a bunch of players who are finding their way through the NHL.
